Experience built through doing
I’m Kylee Bassett, a business owner who enjoys helping people, making things happen and seeing hard work turn into something worthwhile.
My working life has taken me through retail sales, insurance, banking and building businesses from the ground up. I’ve employed and supported teams, looked after customers and built an award-winning real estate business recognised for client service, property marketing and sales.
Along the way, I’ve learned that good service comes down to listening, keeping your word and following through.
Having been the person responsible for the customers, the staff and everything in between, I understand how much business owners carry. I care about the details, respect the trust people place in me and am happy to roll up my sleeves.
Home, horses and new beginnings
Home is our farm in Stonelands, where I live with my husband. This year, I began my journey into boutique thoroughbred breeding, raising future racehorses. It’s a learning curve every day, with plenty of excitement, challenges and special moments watching our foals grow.
Life on the farm also includes our dogs and time in the garden.
Away from the farm, I’m working on an owner-builder project.
I’m also building Stonelands, my online business offering beautiful pieces for you, the country kitchen and home. It’s inspired by memories of my granny’s farmhouse and the warmth of a home where people feel welcome.
Care, commitment and following through
For me, work and personal interests have always complemented each other. I enjoy learning, trying new things and putting experience into practice. Each brings a different perspective, but the same qualities run through them all: care, organisation and following through.
